At a glance

ThreatSpace™: Defend the AI Pipeline is a hands-on threat hunting workshop for security professionals protecting Generative AI workloads. Set in a virtualized Google Cloud cyber range, the training simulates a hybrid enterprise environment featuring Linux servers, Vertex AI integrations, and legacy Windows components.

Participants will tackle the complete OWASP Top 10 for LLM Applications. The session equips defensive teams with the tactical skills to identify and hunt for logic-based attacks across the entire AI Application Kill Chain—from RAG poisoning and prompt injection to excessive agency and supply chain vulnerabilities.

Course goals

The workshop has the following objectives:

  • Hunt Real-World Threats: Gain direct, hands-on experience hunting for AI-specific Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) using Google Security Operations (SecOps).
  • Defend the Pipeline: Equip participants to apply critical detection skills to secure their organization's production AI pipeline against sophisticated adversarial campaigns.
  • Master the 2025 Risk Landscape: Navigate all 10 critical OWASP LLM vulnerabilities (LLM01-LLM10), understanding the crucial differences between pure application layer flaws and shared responsibility risks that require robust architectural mitigation.

Who this course helps

This workshop is intended for individuals with foundational knowledge in security operations, incident response, network traffic analysis, security architecture, or system administration. No prior data science, machine learning, or advanced Python programming knowledge is required.

While the hands-on threat hunting labs are executed within a Google Cloud environment, the forensic concepts, telemetry requirements, and OWASP frameworks taught apply universally across AI deployments.
